HydraFacial Perth

HydraFacial is a non-invasive treatment at our Perth clinic designed to enhance skin health, address specific concerns, and produce a glowing radiance.

Unlike traditional facials, HydraFacial is performed via device rather than by hand, allowing for deeper penetration and longer-lasting benefits. The treatment extracts impurities and dead skin cells whilst simultaneously cleansing, hydrating, and moisturising the new skin for instantly noticeable results. This soothing, refreshing, and non-irritating facial requires no downtime and provides immediate effects.

The device wand, which operates like a vacuum to open pores for a thorough cleansing and simple extraction of skin pollutants and debris, is where HydraFacial’s magic lies. Additionally, it enables our boosters’ active ingredients to permeate the skin more deeply, targeting your specific skin concerns more effectively for more significant results.

HydraFacial can brighten and smooth the areas of your body where texture, dullness, breakouts, and clogged pores are substantial concerns. This means the treatment can be performed on most body areas, including the face, buttocks, back, thighs, neck and decolletage, arms, and hands.

Cost of HydraFacial in Perth

HydraFacials typically cost more than regular facials, as the treatment encompasses a variety of powerful techniques. Still, patients who receive regular microdermabrasion and chemical peels may find a HydraFacial is slightly less expensive overall.

Add-ons and booster treatments, the extent of your concerns and the number of treatment areas, also influence the costs. We always recommend patients book a consultation where their concerns are assessed and a treatment plan is made, giving them an estimate of costs based on their needs.

Benefits at a glance

Prepping for your treatment

There is not much preparation involved for a HydraFacial. However, there are still several factors that we advise our patients on, including:

  • Avoid excessive, prolonged sun exposure for two weeks before your treatment.
  • If you have any cold sores, broken skin or open wounds, reschedule your appointment and wait until they fully heal before receiving your treatment. This includes if you feel the tingle of a cold sore coming on.
  • If you have had any recent cosmetic injectable treatments or skin peels, you will need to wait at least two weeks before receiving your HydraFacial.

“We’re so excited to welcome the much loved Hydrafacial to the clinic! This is the perfect treatment to get refreshed glowy skin before any event!”

Aftercare and recovery

No downtime is needed after this facial, which is one of its key benefits. Individuals can go about their business as usual and continue to apply makeup. Their face may appear flushed or red, but this is a common post-treatment reaction.

For a HydraFacial, our aftercare instructions often include:

  • Try not to pick at your skin. Some whiteheads or blackheads may occur in the first 24 hours after the treatment’s deep cleansing, and you might be tempted to pick or pop them, but doing so will tarnish your beautiful results.
  • Exfoliating and alcohol-based toners should be avoided for 24 hours, as they can cause dryness and skin irritation.
  • Strenuous workouts should be avoided for 24 hours following the treatment.
  • Use only mild and gentle cleansers during the first 24 hours.
  • For the first few days, avoid active skincare products such as retinol, salicylic acid, and other products containing harsh chemicals.
  • Because your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, limit extended and direct sun exposure for about a week, and apply a high SPF sunscreen daily

How to choose the best HydraFacial clinic in Perth

Consider the credentials and experience of the clinic you choose to provide a HydraFacial treatment to experience the safest, most efficient care available. If an unqualified practitioner administers HydraFacials, there are risks involved that could cause harm. Although they may seem like the cheaper option, if you have any adverse reactions, the damage could cost more in the long run.

At Ocean Cosmetics, we have a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, dermal therapists, and skin therapists who specialise in providing top-notch skincare procedures under the supervision of medical doctors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a HydraFacial painful?

The HydraFacial treatment does not cause pain or discomfort; most patients find it incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

How often can I get a HydraFacial?

If you want to improve your skin before a big event, our HydraFacial can be used as a one-time procedure. It can also be used as a regular monthly treatment to preserve a radiant, healthy complexion and keep the skin well-cleansed, preventing the development of skin disorders like acne.

How long does the treatment take?

A full-face treatment can be finished in up to 45 minutes, but if it’s your first visit, you should plan on the treatment taking up to an hour, as consultation is needed beforehand to determine your skin conditions.

Are there any contraindications for a HydraFacial?

All skin types can benefit from the treatment. However, some people might have to wait before having HydraFacial. People with the following factors are not candidates for a HydraFacial:

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Take acne medication (must be stopped six months prior)
  • Suffer from severe rosacea, dermatitis, or open wounds
  • Experience active cold sores or herpes
  • Are allergic to shellfish or aspirin
  • Have recently undergone laser, injectable, or waxing treatments
  • Are currently receiving radiation therapy
  • Have had a recent sunburn

What results can I expect?

Following your HydraFacial, you should experience visible improvements right away. Your skin will appear refreshed and smooth and have an overall healthy glow with an improvement in the tone and texture of your skin. Because of its fast and potent complexion enhancement, some patients believe that a HydraFacial is an ideal treatment before a big event or special occasion.

The hydration and smoothness of your skin may last for five to seven days or even longer. It can also be used as a monthly maintenance treatment to continuously improve the appearance of your complexion by minimising fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, and oily or congested skin.
