What does the treatment involve?

The treatment is a high speed, permanent hair reduction treatment so we will see you for a consultation beforehand. This is where we will do a thorough assessment of your skin and hair type before starting.

The technology is a state-of-the-art diode laser with vacuum-assist technology to remove unwanted hair faster and more comfortably than other available methods. Lightsheer Laser hair removal uses a single wavelength of light to target the hair follicle.
BBL HAIR REMOVAL
A pulse of light is emitted, which is absorbed by the pigmentation, and blood vessels of the hair follicle. When that light is absorbed it is converted to heat, which then destroys the follicle. When the hair follicle is destroyed, it is unable to re-grow hair. Because of the unique properties of each wavelength, the tissue surrounding the hair follicle is left untouched leaving you simply smooth.
Are there any side effects?
It is possible for patients to experience a warm or tingling sensation. There may be some redness on the skin following the treatment. We always discuss side effects in your consult with our therapist.
How long will it take to see results?
Because every patient is different, results will vary depending on certain factors. Most patients start to see a decrease in hair after the second treatment and the reduction is continued throughout the course of treatments.
