Emsculpt Body Sculpting Perth

Emsculpt is the first and only non-invasive body sculpting procedure that addresses both muscle and fat.

We all know the importance of eating a balanced diet and exercising. But sometimes, no matter how many squats or sit-ups you do, you may find it hard to achieve that muscle definition you’re after. Ocean Cosmetics is excited to offer a high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) treatment to our Perth clinic, the BTL Emsculpt.

Emsculpt is the first and only non-invasive body sculpting procedure that addresses both muscle and fat. It can be used on your abdomen, thighs and arms to increase muscle tone, and it can also be used on your buttocks as a non-invasive butt lift procedure. The Emsculpt device creates a unique electromagnetic field that penetrates the skin to impact muscle tissue and subcutaneous fat. During a session, this energy induces approximately 20,000 supramaximal muscle contractions, which cannot be achieved alone in one gym session.

We recommend a series of four 30-minute treatments twice a week for two weeks for optimal results.

Cost of Emsculpt in Perth

Before choosing to proceed with Emsculpt treatments, it is essential to understand the many aspects that may affect the cost. Your doctor or clinician’s knowledge and credentials are critical in assuring the safety and success of your treatment. This will mean the cost may be more, but it is well worth it to ensure the best possible outcome.

The thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and upper arms are the most common areas where muscle and fat require sculpting. Generally, we offer Emsculpt treatments in packages. This means if you want to treat two areas, this will involve a dual package. Therefore, we will need to discuss your aesthetic goals and desired treatment areas in order to provide you with more details on costs. Maintenance treatments may also be needed at specific intervals to support your ongoing results.

At your consultation, we will discuss your Emsculpt treatment and an estimate of the package costs will be provided.

Your clinician will advise you to carry out the following before your Emsculpt session to guarantee long-lasting and successful results:

  • Keep yourself hydrated. Drink plenty of water a few days before your treatment, which is crucial for the best results and comfort. It also aids in the lymphatic system’s removal of waste from your body.
  • Avoid smoking and binge drinking, which might have a detrimental effect on your results.
  • Maintain a balanced diet and an active lifestyle.
  • Dress comfortably and loosely for your session.

“We are really excited to extend our Em-Suite family with the Emsculpt. It provides that extra step for anyone trying to tone and build muscle. It’s like doing 20,000 situps or squats in a 30 minute session! ”

The procedure

While you sit back and relax, one of our top clinicians will apply a large flat paddle to your area of concern. A suitable setting is chosen on the device before being applied. You may feel a sensation of strong, muscular contractions. This “tensing” of the muscles can last for many seconds, followed by a soothing, tapping feeling. After the treatment, you can resume your normal activities without pain or downtime.

Aftercare and recovery

Immediately following your Emsculpt treatment, your muscles may feel sore and tired, similar to how you would feel after an intense workout. Continue to maintain hydration to help support your body’s healing and flushing out of the destroyed fat cells. Maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise to get the most out of your results. One of the significant benefits of Emsculpt is that there is no downtime or intense aftercare needed — you can continue your routine as usual.

How to choose the best Emsculpt body sculpting clinic in Perth

Consider the credentials and experience of the clinic you choose to provide Emsculpt treatments to receive the safest, most efficient care available. If an unskilled or unqualified practitioner uses Emsculpt’s technology, patients risk experiencing adverse side effects. At Ocean Cosmetics, we have a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, dermal therapists, and skin therapists who focus on providing top-notch skincare procedures under the supervision of our properly accredited doctors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it feel like?

Some report the sensation to be unusual but not uncomfortable or painful. It feels like an intensive workout.

What is the treatment time?

The treatment lasts 30 minutes, with patients comfortably reclined while the device cycles through three different patterns of muscle contractions.

How many treatments are recommended?

It is generally recommended that patients receive four treatments over two weeks to ensure optimal toning and fat destruction.

Are there any contraindications for Emsculpt?

Not everyone is a suitable candidate for Emsculpt. There are contraindications for the treatment, including:

  • Cardiac pacemakers
  • IUDs
  • Electronic or metal implants
  • Pregnancy
  • Women who are menstruating, as the muscle contractions can worsen period pains
  • Individuals with epilepsy
  • Individuals with implant devices
  • Individuals who have undergone recent surgical procedures
  • Hemorrhagic conditions

How long will the results last?

Emsculpt results are not permanent. They can last up to six months or more, depending on whether patients maintain a healthy diet and regular exercise and receive maintenance treatments.

Can Emsculpt help with diastasis recti?

Emsculpt is quite successful in improving muscle tone and burning fat, but it can also aid with diastasis recti. After giving birth, many women frequently have diastasis recti or rectus abdominis diastasis. Pregnancy-related pressure on the stomach can cause the abdominal muscles to split and stretch, resulting in a stomach bulge. Although the muscles gradually return to their normal size in most cases, this does not always occur.

Until recently, surgery was the only option to address this problem, which resulted in a significant amount of unwanted downtime. Emsculpt is the first non-surgical treatment for this issue, boasting an 11% decrease in abdominal muscle separation.

What is the difference between Emsculpt and Emsculpt NEO?

Both Emsculpt and Emsculpt Neo can effectively stimulate muscle building and fat reduction. The key difference between these devices is that the Emsculpt Neo uses radio frequency to heat the body and reduce more fat than the Emsculpt device does. Patients with more body fat in the treatment area should consider the Emsculpt NEO, while patients with smaller targeted areas will see more results from an Emsculpt treatment.

How fast will I see results?

Results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following the treatment.
