Plamere Pen

As the collagen and elastin production in our body starts to slow down, fine lines and wrinkles will start to gradually appear on the surface of the skin.

The skin around the eyes is very delicate and is often the first area to show signs of ageing with lines. An alternative to eyelid surgery, Plasma Pen is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment that can enhance the appearance of your skin.

The plasma gas produced by the pen encourages the production of new cells and collagen to create rejuvenation, plump skin. Superficial wounds will be apparent on the skin, but will flake off in the days following the treatment to reveal gorgeous results.

This treatment can also address:

  • Eyelids
  • Crow’s feet
  • Marionette lines
  • Frown lines
  • Top lip and more

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the treatment involve?

Firstly, we numb the area with a topical anaesthetic cream. We then use the Plamere Pen to create small ‘match-head’ sized plasma crusts/scabs on either side of the line/wrinkle or excess skin. You may feel warmth in the skin during the treatment. Many of these scabs are created during the treatment to retract and tighten the skin. This produces results comparable to those of an invasive upper or lower eyelid surgery but without the lengthy downtime.

Are there any side effects?

There are side effects involved with the Plamere Pen treatment. We will always go through these with you in your consultation. Swelling and mild discomfort are expected for up to three days. Crusting/scabbing will heal within 10 – 14 days.

How long will it take to see the results after the treatment?

Usually, the desired results are visible around four to six weeks post procedure, continuing to improve afterwards.

Is there any downtime?

The area must be kept dry and no makeup is to be worn for the first 48 hours. This is to prevent bacteria and infections forming in the open wounds on the skin.

You may want to allow yourself one to three days of downtime minimum as you will see some swelling for the first three days after treatment . The scabs/crusts should be gone entirely after seven to ten days. It may just look like a brown eyeshadow for a little while!
