Mono Threads is a new way to tighten and plump your skin for a more youthful appearance by activating the body’s natural collagen production. We wanted to answer some of your most frequently asked questions about this treatment.

What’s involved in the treatment?

Using a specialised technique anywhere from 50 – 150 threads are inserted into the treatment area using fine needles that slide just under the dermis. Each needle has a singular fine thread attached that is left in the skin as the needles are removed creating a mesh like pattern. The threads activate the bodies healing response stimulating collagen and elastin production. Over about three months the threads will dissolve.

When will you see results?

Following the treatment you will begin to see results from eight weeks post treatment, but the real magic will kick in about 12 weeks post, and can last up to 12 months!

Does it hurt?

The big question on everyone’s minds. Prior to the treatment we numb your skin so during most of the treatment you will just feel a small prick as each thread is inserted. There are more sensitive areas than others, so your therapist will walk you through it.
