Dr. Maysa Abu Laban completed her Bachelor of Medicine and surgery in 1989 and went on to do further studies in the fields of internal medicine, cosmetic medicine, and skin cancer medicine & surgery.

Dr Abu Laban is one of the leading cosmetic physicians in Australia with over 21 years of experience in the field. Trained by world-renowned doctors in aesthetic medicine &surgery, Dr. Abu Laban pioneered multiple treatments in WA, including Thread lift, Intense Pulse Light (IPL), fat-dissolving injections, and most recently, Plasma eyelid tightening.

Dr Abu Laban was one of the first doctors to perform Thread Lift in Australia and has performed over 500 thread lift procedures using different thread types and techniques. She also pioneered wide-scale Intense Pulse Light treatments in Western Australia and has performed thousands of IPL treatments for a variety of skin problems including rosacea, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage.

Dr Abu Laban is very experienced with Dermal Fillers and muscle-relaxing injections and is well known for her natural and artistic results.

Dr. Abu Laban is highly qualified and experienced in the field of skin cancer medicine and surgery and is a member of the Australian Skin Cancer College. She provided skin cancer-related services for The Australian Skin Cancer Clinics and for Primary Health Medical Group for over 14 years before joining the National Skin Cancer Centers.

Dr Abu Laban enjoys sharing her knowledge & experience with colleague doctors. She is involved in teaching and training in the aesthetic and skin cancer fields through the Health Cert. training programs and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australia. She is also the WA trainer for Mint Threads and frequently presents on local and international platforms.
