Learn more about this treatment

EMFUSION® is an advanced, non-invasive skin treatment designed to support skin barrier function while delivering specially formulated active ingredients into the skin. At the centre of the technology is patented DYNAMiQ® Technology.

Rather than relying on needles or thermal injury, DYNAMiQ® Technology induces epidermal resonance to support the skin's natural barrier formation processes. At the same time, specially formulated active ingredients are delivered into the skin to help support hydration, barrier strength and overall skin quality.

The treatment is comfortable, requires little to no downtime for most patients and may be incorporated into personalised treatment plans depending on individual clinical assessment.

Common Areas we Treat

Helping maintain the skin's natural protective function.

EMFUSION supports skin hydration and helps maintain moisture within the skin, making it particularly relevant for skin that feels dry, tight or depleted.

Environmental exposure, lifestyle factors and ageing can affect the skin’s ability to maintain optimal function. EMFUSION supports barrier health as part of a longer-term approach to skin resilience.

Sun exposure, climate, travel and other environmental factors can place additional stress on the skin barrier. EMFUSION can be incorporated into a plan focused on restoring hydration and supporting barrier function.

EMFUSION fits within a preventative approach to skin health by supporting hydration, barrier function and overall skin quality, helping maintain healthier-functioning skin over time.

Ideal for

EMFUSION may be considered for people experiencing dry or dehydrated skin, a compromised skin barrier, sensitivity, dullness or changes in overall skin quality with age. It may also be suitable for skin affected by environmental or lifestyle-related stress, early changes in texture and elasticity, or where additional barrier support is needed. For those taking a preventative approach to skin health, EMFUSION may form part of a longer-term skin longevity plan. Where clinically appropriate, it may also be incorporated into a broader treatment plan before or after selected aesthetic procedures to support overall skin health and barrier function.

Treatment Journey

Your journey begins with an assessment at our doctor-led Perth clinic.

We take the time to understand your skin rather than simply selecting a treatment from a menu.

We may assess:

  • hydration
  • sensitivity
  • barrier function
  • pigmentation
  • redness
  • texture
  • signs of sun exposure
  • previous aesthetic treatments
  • current skincare
  • medical history
  • your short and long-term goals

From there, we determine whether EMFUSION is appropriate for you and how it may fit within your wider treatment plan.

Pre-Treatment Care

EMFUSION requires minimal preparation. To help ensure your skin is ready for treatment:

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin where possible.
  • Avoid exfoliating products, scrubs, retinoids and other potentially irritating active skincare for 2–3 days prior, unless otherwise advised by your clinician.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and ensure your skin is not sunburnt before treatment.
  • Keep your skin well hydrated and continue using gentle, barrier-supportive skincare.
  • Avoid waxing, depilatory creams or other treatments that may irritate the treatment area immediately beforehand.
  • Let your clinician know about any recent changes to your medications, health or skin.
  • Advise us of any recent cosmetic, laser, injectable or skin treatments.
  • Please contact the clinic before your appointment if you develop active irritation, a rash, infection, cold sore, broken skin or significant sensitivity in the treatment area.

Your clinician will assess your skin before treatment and provide individual recommendations where required.

Most people can return to normal activities shortly afterwards.

Your clinician will advise you on skincare and any modifications required following treatment.

Your skin may feel more hydrated and refreshed after your appointment, while longer-term skin-quality goals may require a series of treatments and ongoing skin care.

Frequently Asked Questions

EMFUSION is primarily used to support skin quality in appropriate treatment areas. Your clinician will assess your concerns and advise which areas are suitable during consultation.

The treatment is non-invasive and designed with patient comfort in mind. Your clinician will explain what you can expect before treatment begins.

EMFUSION takes a barrier-focused approach to skin health. Using DYNAMiQ® technology alongside specifically formulated active substances, treatment is designed to support hydration, barrier function and overall skin quality rather than focusing on one visible concern alone.

DYNAMiQ® is the patented technology used by EMFUSION. It works with the skin at the epidermal level and is designed to support processes associated with skin barrier function and the delivery of specifically formulated active substances.

EMFUSION is designed to support skin barrier function and hydration. However, barrier health is influenced by many factors, including skincare, environmental exposure and underlying skin conditions, so treatment is best considered as one part of a broader skin-health plan.

Some patients may notice that their skin feels more hydrated or refreshed following treatment. Longer-term changes in skin quality are generally approached progressively through an individualised treatment plan.

There is no universal treatment number.
The frequency and number of sessions recommended will depend on your skin condition, concerns, existing treatment plan and long-term goals.
