We asked Jenny from the @activebod (one of our fav Instagram accounts!) to share one of her favourite Summer recipes that will not only help to nourish,refresh and cool you down, but it will also boost your Vitamin C intake. Did you know Vitamin C is essential for making collagen? Seeing as most of our treatments help kickstart the production of collagen, it’s important to keep your intake of Vitamin C high for optimal results.
This quick and easy four ingredient smoothie bowl is perfect for these hot summer mornings.
- 1/2 C frozen mango
- 3/4 C frozen banana
- 1 Scoop vanilla protein
- 1 C almond milk
Then top it with some fresh berries, granola and coconut flakes and you’re good to go.
